Norwegian statistics from Statistics Norway (SSB)
Fetch Statistics Norway's monthly consumer price index, adjust a rent, salary or contract price by it, or get the population and its changes for Norway, a county or a municipality. The figures are read live from SSB, with SSB's notes passed on.

GET /v1/statistics/cpi | Consumer price index | get_consumer_price_index | $0.005 |
GET /v1/statistics/cpi/adjust | Adjust an amount by the CPI | adjust_by_cpi | $0.005 |

Per successful call, in USD, paid as USDC on Base. The MCP server is at https://veldora.no/mcp.
How payment works
Your agent sends a normal HTTP request and gets 402 Payment Required with the price. It signs a USDC authorization on Base for that amount and repeats the request, and Veldora returns the data with a receipt. There is no account or API key, and failed calls are not charged. See Pay per call and the payment section of the docs.
Questions
What is the licence of the statistics?
Statistics Norway publishes the data under CC BY 4.0. Every response carries Source: Statistics Norway (SSB), licensed under CC BY 4.0. in meta.attribution. Adjusted amounts are calculated by Veldora from SSB's index, and meta.method says so.
How fresh is the data?
Figures are read live from SSB and cached for up to an hour. meta.updated is when SSB last updated the table, and for the consumer price index meta.latest_month is the newest month. Population change figures for a year are null until SSB publishes them.
What happens if a call fails?
You are not charged for any response with status 400 or higher. An unknown region, or a month or year SSB has no figures for, gives 404 before payment is asked for. If SSB does not answer you get 503 and no charge.
Do I need an API key or an account?
No. Your agent pays per call in USDC on Base with the x402 protocol.
Can my agent use this over MCP?
Yes. Connect to https://veldora.no/mcp and call get_consumer_price_index, adjust_by_cpi or get_population. Listing the tools is free; each call costs $0.005.
